Since 1841

Sleep where travelers have slept for 180 years

Before Ohio sent a single soldier to the Civil War, this corner was already welcoming guests. Built around 1841 as the Washington Hotel and renamed by Elias Hatfield in 1855, the Hatfield House is often called Troy's original hotel.

Today the landmark brick shell hides a 2024 top-to-bottom remodel — new everything, from the studs out.
